I am shocked at how much fun watching the running of the bulls was. I thought I would feel really bad for the bulls because they get killed afterwards, but I thought it was very exciting to watch and I didnt really think of it as animal cruelty. I actually shreiked a few times, but I caught myself wanting the bulls to hit the people that were messing with them because I kind of felt like they deserved it. It is weird to think that this event is part of the spanish culture because I cant really picture something like this happening in the United States. I think I would definitely go again because I really enjoyed experiencing something so culturally different and seeing people so excited to be there. I think it would actually be really exhilerating to run with the bulls, but seeing the people get hit today made me see in person how dangerous these bulls are. I really liked how the actual bulls that ran around in the plaza were the guider bulls and then when each guider bull was done they would bring out one of the huge ones that get killed afterwards. I didnt buy any food at the event but I did try a croissant and I must say it was very good. I wish i would have gotten the churros with chocolate but maybe next time.
